What they accept
Amazing Stories accepts science fiction stories of 1,000 to 24,000 words through its own anonymized online submission system, with a stated optimistic approach, and allows no simultaneous or multiple submissions. Its guidelines note the print magazine is currently on hiatus and describe a Weekly Stories program released first to Patreon subscribers and then free on the website. Pay is stated as eight cents per word for magazine publication when magazine publication resumes; Weekly Stories pays a flat $20 for original stories of 2,500 words or more, $10 for original flash up to 2,500 words, and $10 for reprints of any length.
