For writers · fiction first

Keep each piece's submission history together.

Where can this go?

Compare a piece with market rules for length, genre, pay, rights, and simultaneous submissions. See the reason, source, and checked date for each match. Check unknown rules with the publisher.

One history, any portal

Keep submissions sent through Submittable, Duosuma, web forms, or the post in one history for each piece. Record the version sent, the response, and who logged the submission.

After acceptance

After acceptance, review other pending submissions, record publication, and check when the piece is available again. Keep these records beside the submission history.

Portable by design

Import your spreadsheet. Export your history.

Review fields and possible duplicates before importing a CSV. Export pieces, versions, submissions, and outcomes together.

Receive manuscripts and manage editorial review.

Publisher intake comes after the writer workspace. Try the previews for receiving manuscripts, assigning anonymous reads, recording decisions, and keeping an archive between reading periods.

Intake

Set reading periods, capacity, and packet rules. Confirm which files arrived and when.

Anonymous reading

Give readers numbered manuscripts and private queues. Hide other reviews until they submit their own.

Decisions

Preview the recipient, message, and outcome together. Keep a record of what changed.

Seasons

Track how long writers have waited and when reader assignments are due. Keep the archive available between reading periods.

Switching

How we plan to handle your data.

  1. 01

Preserve submission history when a title or version changes.

  2. 02

Show a source and checked date for each market rule. Label missing information as unknown.

  3. 03

Create no submission record when a portal opens. Let the writer log what they actually sent.

  4. 04

Ask before merging imported records. Include the full history in exports.
