What they accept
Screw Dem Space Horses: Equine Stories Across Space and Time collects speculative stories in which a horse or horse-adjacent creature is integral to the plot. It prefers stories of 2,000 to 6,000 words but will read outside that range, takes new work and reprints equally, one story at a time, and stays open through December 1, 2026; payment is $5 a story plus $0.05 royalties, with no currency named and the royalty basis unexplained on the page.
