What they accept
Macabre Magazine is a bi-monthly horror magazine publishing flash fiction of 500 to 1,000 words and short fiction of 2,000 to 5,000 words across all horror subgenres, under a strict blind-review process; lengths between those bands fit neither stated category. It currently offers no monetary payment — contributors may receive a digital copy of their issue and eligibility for a complimentary one-year American Horror Society membership. It is open to submissions year-round through its Duosuma portal.
