Undercity Magic is a special PodCastle call for fantasy stories about how people survive and make magic in cities, especially cities shaped by colonial and imperial interests, open October 9 to November 13, 2026. It takes originals and reprints of 2,000 to 6,000 words (reprints up to 7,000 words), paying the standard $0.08 per word for originals and a $100 flat rate for reprints.
