What they accept
Sci Phi Journal publishes idea-focused hard science fiction, fictional non-fiction, and speculative philosophy, preferring stories centred on big ideas over character-driven fiction. Its current short fiction call takes previously unpublished stories of up to 2,000 words, is open from October 15 to November 5, and pays 3 Euro cents per word for original fiction. Simultaneous submissions are allowed and submissions are made through Duosuma.

- AI policy
- Sci Phi Journal asks authors to refrain from sending AI-generated content, as it prefers to devote its crew's time to actual human creativity and does not feel the current situation adequately addresses the rights and legitimate concerns of original authors whose work is fed into machine-learning algorithms.
