What they accept
Fractured Lit's second annual Fractured and Fused Prize takes flash fiction of up to 1,000 words on fracture and repair, judged by Richard Mirabella, from September 21 to November 22, 2026. A $20 reading fee covers up to two stories per entry, and writers from historically marginalized groups may submit free until a cap of 25 free submissions is reached. The winner receives $3,000 and publication, second and third place receive $300 and $200 with publication, and all entries are also considered for regular publication in Fractured Lit.
