What they accept
Mizna is a journal centering Arab and Southwest Asian and North African (SWANA) literature; contributors do not need to be SWANA- or Arab-identified and may be based anywhere, but work should be considerate of Mizna's ethos and the social realities of its audiences. Submissions are currently closed with no next window stated; its prose call takes fiction and flash fiction of up to 3,000 words, charges no submission fee, asks submitters to indicate any simultaneous submissions in the cover letter, and pays selected contributors a $200 honorarium plus a one-year subscription and five copies of the issue.
