What they accept
Best of British Science Fiction 2026 is a NewCon Press reprint anthology, edited by Donna Scott, seeking science fiction stories first published during 2026 by British, Irish, British-based, or expatriate authors; previously unpublished work is not wanted, and fantasy is not eligible. There is no limit on word length, though stories over 10,000 words may prove a harder sell. Accepted authors receive 1.5p per word up to a maximum of £60 for the reprint rights, plus contributor copies.
