What they accept
The Account is closed for fiction for its Fall 2026 issue and reopens in spring 2027, with submissions through Submittable. Every submission must include an account, an artist's statement of roughly 150 to 500 words, alongside the work, and the journal often hits its submission caps early. There are no submission fees, and the journal is not currently a paying market.
