What they accept
miCRo is The Cincinnati Review's weekly online flash feature, accepting up to three pieces in a single file, with fiction, nonfiction, and hybrid pieces each at 500 words maximum. It pays $25 per miCRo post; the guidelines do not name a currency for that amount, and no submission fee is stated on the guidelines page. Submissions are open nearly year-round and may close for backlog, previously published work is not considered, simultaneous submissions are accepted, and submitters are asked not to query until after a year.
