What they accept
Sley House Publishing takes stories and poetry for its Patreon collections — five themed collections spanning southern gothic, horror, science fiction, fantasy, mystery, and thriller — during a monthly window on the 1st through the 3rd; the December 2026 window (December 1–3) has a New England theme. Stories may run up to 6,000 words, previously published work is not accepted except in rare cases, submissions sent outside the window are deleted, and each selected piece pays $35, with no currency named on the page.
