What they accept
The Bloomin' Onion is always open to fiction, taking one to two pieces per period across flash fiction (1 to 1,000 words), short stories (1,001 to 5,000 words), and longform (5,001 to 15,000 words), for weekly featured publication and bi-annual issues. It accepts simultaneous submissions, does not accept previously published work except from now-defunct magazines, and currently pays nothing.
